Aggie Women

Aggieland 2001, 551

Pictured here is the 2001 Texas A&M softball team. The image is exploratory of how far Texas A&M has come as a university, it shows how long and hard these women have fought to thrive in their sport. These women had to find their voice and make their presence known. The Texas A&M University softball team has come a long way from the one pictured in this yearbook photo. Not only is softball a well-known sport, but the crowds are continuously growing in support for this women’s collegiate team.

The Battalion May 2, 1975
