Freshman Orientation Week (FOW) takes place the week prior to the start of classes. During this time incoming cadets are made aware of the customs and traditions of Texas A&M Corp of Cadets. The pictured news article highlights Corp traditions from fish haircuts to the Cadet Oath along with testimonies from the FOW Commander and other cadets. When considering the history of Texas A&M women and people of color tend to be the ones absent. Fortunately, this article featured Robert Wells and Cindy Walton despite being the minority these photos points to the presence these minorities held within the Corp and campus.
